5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSpecific classroom teacher is wonderful (thorough and responsive communication with parents) but at times my child feels unheard or dismissed by the teacher despite overall fondness. School administration not as responsive regarding concerns. My child was involved in a physical altercation with another student and though I was informed and both kids got detention, there didn't seem to be enough responsiveness in documentation. There was an additional incident between parents on the schoolyard which the school administration also did not do a good enough job following up on. Office staff do not help resolve tech issues for parents and don't record absences properly despite multiple written communications...Overall not a very reassuring environment in terms of safety and responsiveness of school administration and office staff. I do love how diverse the school is though, but staff/administration could do more to help encourage kids to embrace differences, celebrate and learn about various cultures to reduce bullying.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 6715 N Richmond St.
