3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have the opportunity to school choice I 10000% recommend it! The middle school does NOTHING to help the victims of bullying. Everything gets swept under the rug and they move on with their days. When kids do go to administration they get ignored because of "bigger issues". After speaking with teachers that agree that bullying is never handled I switched my children to another district. "I know there are lots of positive community resources for families in this town. We have a nice children’s playground. There are many lakes around Athol and surrounding areas. Also leads to camping for some outdoor fun. "

"Its improving quickly with all the new construction.I've noticed a hudge difference just in the past year.So many new jobs available.That gives opportunity and people are improving their lives.So many less people just hanging around midday.Less poverty means less crime.Seem like Athol will be viewed in a much more positive way.I ended up here and hated it.I'm actually able to leave now and don't think I want to."

"Athol has ‘Town’ buses for the main roads. If you need a pick-up in the country there is a local small van that will pick you up for $3.00, you need to call the night before and there is always Uber. One really needs personal transportation, as everything is far apart, not walkable."

"Athol seems to have a lot more drug activity at much younger ages.I honestly think they need a Boys and Girls club.Places these kids can go that are free.Its a very low income area and this makes things much harder on teenagers Bowling alley or roller skating rink would be a good start.There are so many vacant buildings."

"im a retired veteran. i used too live else where in athol. i wasnt getting much for what i paid for. but now i am very happy here with my cat. and the people here are great."
