7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverything you've heard is true: Camas schools really are as great as they're purported to be. We moved to Camas from Portland, and the difference for our kid is undeniable. Liberty Middle School has been particularly great for our tween (now teen), who struggled with some social anxiety after the pandemic. We're grateful to her teachers, most of whom keep us regularly informed about her progress, behavior and grades. She went from indifference and disciplinary problems back in Portland to setting the curve in several of her classes. My partner and I are floored. "Moving to Camas for the schools" is a cliché, I know —and for good reason. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.Parent Review4mo ago - Camas High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of my sons went to school there and it put him so far behind. No guidance or assistance for college or career path. He is now on his third Camas school just trying to graduate. My other son went to another Camas school and played baseball at CHS. He never got the attention he deserved partially due to his not attending CHS and partially since he did not look like the rest of the team. In my opinion, unless you are connected to the staff/coaches, have some sort of major status or influence, or can make large gifts to the school you will not get a fair shake. If you have the opportunity to send your children somewhere else I would take it.Parent Review4mo ago - Woodburn Elementary

"I work in the next town over, Washougal. It’s a nice quiet commute. Over the years though the area has grown and the streets are getting a little busier. Though I can’t complain, it’s still pretty smooth and quiet. "
