5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFavoritism is rampant, discipline is uneven at best. Spend a little time at this school during session and you'll see a combination of indifferent, aloof, or angry teachers and administration. Was hoping that a change at the Supervisor last election would eliminate a lot of the issues, but they've gotten worse. Small town clique that protects it's own at all costs including any credibility.Parent Review6y ago - Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had some of the hardest times of my life at this school. Only wealthy, white, Christian athlete students are treated well. Christianity based prayer is held before all school events despite families of other faiths complaining to administration. Teachers discuss politics, religion, and sex with students in inappropriate ways. Many teachers give poor grades to students if they do not like them. Many teachers play games, watch movies, and do arts and crafts instead of instructing students on the curriculum. I have gotten chicken bones that cut my mouth open in my school lunches. The only quality lunches were the ones that you had to pay for, free lunches for low income students were hardly even food. This school never had my best interest in mind, and I sincerely believe that they will not have your child's well being in mind either.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 6222 Oberlin Ave.

"My neighborhood is extremely peaceful and is very tranquil. Our area is very handy , but also has the distance from local/distant attractions such as restaurants, big box stores, gas stations & etc. "

"We enjoy the rural tranquility that our area provides. We moved here from Jax & raised my 25 yr old Son in this area. It was the best decision of our 36yrs of marriage. our community is safe from the rapid crime of bigger cities, and you feel safe 24hrs a day. I love the rural surroundings and the privacy we enjoy. Moving to this area provided a safe place for our family and lots of cherished memories that can only be found in areas like North central Florida. "

"Country living where everybody has at least one dog, not to mention horses along with your typical farm animals. Dogs are very happy in our area, as we live very secluded from high traffic and dogs can roam freely with or without their master/owner."

"A great area to raise children or senior parents but nothing for singles from 40 up to do. Quiet, friendly, and very safe place to live. "

"There are not a lot of children near by. It is a wooded area with dirt roads. it is a quiet place. "

"Keystone Heights is not a bad town but it is far from everything including larger metropolitan areas. With minimal options for everything from groceries to housing to schools, you really should consider living in the area as rural it gets. "

"Keystone Heights definitely has a nice small town vibe and the lakes are beautiful. There’s parades for the 4th of July and Christmas. They also close down Lawrence Boulevard during Halloween and open it up for trick-or-treaters. The schools are great and everyone turns out for the high school football games"

"We have several parades throughout the year including the Christmas and 4th of July parades with fireworks. During Halloween, they close down Lawrence Boulevard to vehicle traffic and all the businesses give out candy. Everyone goes out to the local high school football games and the lakes are on their way up."

"Scenic route - gives you time to calm down from a stressful day at work Very pretty and not much traffic at all "
