7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Schroeder. Both of my kids went there and we loved all the teachers. The PTA is strong and organizes great events. It has a very family friendly feel to it. Both of my kids were well prepared for middle school.Other Review2y ago - Marina High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm really pleased with Marina. A lot of my friends chose Huntington and I feel the academics at Marina are superior although I feel you can't go wrong with either school - there is no bad choice. Marina has a strong push to go to college and do well. The only negative is there is a very low emphasis on sports compared to other high schools - with the exception of baseball, cheer and dance.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 6202 Shelly Dr.

"We have lived in HB for 29 years. It used to be a sleepy little beach resort. Now that we are "on the map", traffic is terrible. If you live anywhere near Beach Blvd, Adams, Goldenwest or any of the other major streets (which there are many) you will hear traffic, especially motorcycles. Of course, this is just the price we pay for living in a city with great weather, access to upper scale shopping, freeway close to Disneyland, mountains and the desert. If you are considering HB and have never been here, I would consider visiting on a weekend so you can see and hear the impact the traffic will make on your daily life."

"I work based at home so I couldn’t tell ya. But it’s close enough to downtown when I have meetings down there to ride my bike down. And good access to freeways, the most I commute is to North County SD or Beverly Hills."
