7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFVHS is an amazing school filled with kind and compassionate teachers and admin. My final child will be graduating and we leave the school with great memories. This school is uniquely community. With most students residing within The same zip code these kids build life long bonds as they send each other outside of school. Fvhs offers rigger with a large offering of AP courses as well as full support for CCP which allows students to take college level courses. Great sports teams with the award winning OC school spirit squad. FVHS has an impressive arts arena, several state champion sports teams…and an awesome new campus. We are proud Bengal alumni who are excited to watch FVHS continue to soar. And we will continue to root them on from the bleachers , auditorium seats.. or online opportunities #RollBengalsParent Review1y ago - Wake Early Coll Heal

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a terrible choice for parents and students looking for a supportive teachers. Teachers will rarely listen to or try to understand a student's point of view. The administration will ignore many student concerns without any investigation unless parents interfere. Many of the work handed is just busy work and rarely has an impact on student learning. There are some helpful teachers but there are even more cruel teachers. It's incredibly hard to fix grades that a student didn't deserve without parental interference. The courses offered are very restrictive as well.Student Review8y ago - Holly Grove Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are trying to decide between this school and Holly Ridge, Holly Grove has much better behaved children. I have subbed at both but my kids went to Holly Grove. They would have hated Holly Ridge. Too many chaotic kids. I like the overall vibe here much better. It’s not perfect. Kids get away with some stuff but the staff cares and is doing what they can without being drill sergeants.Parent Review1y ago - Wake Nc State Univ Stem Early College High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had an amazing experience as a student at this school. This has made me not only ready for college but also the professional world. Throughout my four years here I was able to grow and learn through the help of the incredible students and staff. I can't wait to see what Wake STEM becomes.Student Review4y ago - Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile we have had a few bumps getting our boy engaged, the leadership have been great partners with looking at options. This school is a college prep school so there is not an emphasis in the Arts, but more a focus on core curriculum. We love that there are male teachers teaching our boy as they provide examples of strong role models. We love the uniforms!Parent Review2mo ago - Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst of the “school may look pretty” Is very dangerous The school is like 80 percent windows and its layout is a square which first was a red flag for me!Though I still enrolled my Daughters the next red flag is when my child got bullied and told 2 teachers and the other kid got not a punishment not detention or a warning! The next thing was when my daughter got to 5th grade and got her recess shortened to 20 mintutes banned from soccer, and I just found out my daughters lunch is 20 mintutes!I checked if that even was legal though it was but the very least it was before it could get the school in trouble.Last year my daughter got excluded from a reward along with some other students for no good reason!Their schools expentions are wayyy to high for my daughters grade level.Once one of my daughters the teacher got asked by my daugher why is the school a lot of windows and the teacher replied “the school is meant to be pretty not safe”.They also do not care about allergy’s IN ANY WAY!My younger daughter has a egg allergy’s and peanut so she is most of the time careful though one day she went to lunch and was buying lunch and she asked a lunch lady if their is any eggs or peanuts ij a food!Do you want to know what happened next they said not but their actually was and I am so glad she had her epi pen that day they didn’t even tell me my daughter did! They didnt alarm me that she had a allergic reaction beware of this school’s safety their also pretty strict I mean they can make your child smart and have stress and get injuryed and etc though they do sometimes aware you of problems ( 1 out of 3 times) I have more issues though this review is already getting long I,ll add it in a later review.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 600 Darian Woods Dr #3.
