Description

Situated in the highly desirable Scenic Estates area on a beautifully wooded lot at the end of a court sits this timeless two story home. The path to walk to Adams Elementary is straight out the front door and a walk to the tennis center is straight out the back door! A gorgeous formal entry welcomes you into the main level featuring a stunning living room with a stone gas log fireplace as the centerpiece surrounded by windows on each side. The custom designed kitchen with cabinets by LeBeau includes a Sub Zero refrigerator, Jenn Air double oven, Asko dishwasher and granite counters. The locker area and drop zone from the garage was professionally designed and leads into the laundry room with 2 washing machines and plenty of organized space ideal for a busy family. Impressive coffered ceilings compliment the main floor office space. Upstairs, the layout boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lower level features an additional 1038 square feet of finished living space with a gas fireplace, wet bar and full bath. Step outside to a private wooded paradise with three different areas of decking, a waterfall with koi pond and plenty of unbuildable wooded space between the backyard and tennis center. You will enjoy the "up north" atmosphere right in the middle of the city. In 2022 exterior of house was fully painted and hardwood floors refinished, 2021 new furnace and A/C, 2010 new roof, and brand new carpet in living room and primary bedroom. This is a rare gem that you do not want to miss!

"Nothing but trying not to get hit by speeding cars. Going yo mailbox on Monroe near City ski hill ice rink Speed limit is 55 mph. I worry about children dogs cats wild critters school buses 30 miles per hour. Safety First. Then enjoying city forest trails and biking will become a first class event. Our city has marked bike paths Not around city forest. Not evens path (sidewalk) to be able to safely enjoy our forest! Slow Down. Residents and city tourist need your help in changing speed regulations "
