6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school isn’t the best. While I went here, I was bullied. It was never taken care of, even after reporting it several times. The next year I was put in 5 classes with someone who I specifically requested not to be in classes with to prevent drama. I was not listened to, whatsoever. I have adhd, and suffered from a serious concussion during the 2022-2023 school year. The adhd accommodations weren’t taken seriously, and I was constantly being asked when my concussion accommodations would end. Overall, most of the teachers at this school are amazing and very supportive. However, there are some that aren’t as great and need to work on improving their teaching methods. I found it hard to engage in my school work, all the time. Please, for the sake of your child, consider your options. This might not be the best school for them.Other Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 585 Bridle Springs St SE.

"there are a lot of dogs in this area. main roads have lights and sidewalks but they are lacking on the side streets. close parks "
- Trulia User

"there are nice parks less than 1 mile away. people drive way too fast through the neighborhoods so we've always been worried about our kids playing out front our riding their bikes - especially without sidewalks in our neighborhood. transients and people being released from jail walk our street daily. we've had several items stolen from our vehicles. neighbors are friendly, mostly families. "

"there aren't enough streetlights in this area to walk your dog at night. sidewalks are hit or miss and not well maintained. I see several people walking their dogs daily though and there are nearby parks."

"Great place to raise kids. Schools are good and community really supports everyone. I believe it is a safe place to ride bikes and visit the local parks. Love the river and the downtown shopping area. We also have a carousel that the kids love to ride. The train depot offers tickets north and south to visit Seattle to Los Angeles . It is the best place to live."

"Albany has a lot of parks, some great schools and a fantastic library. There are many things for families to do outdoors and plenty of kid friendly places to go within an hour of Albany. The beach is just over an hour West of us. As with most of the PNW homelessness is a problem and it's more noticeable because this is a small town. Violent crime is low, property crime is higher and that's directly correlated to the drug problems some Albany residents face. This is a great place for involved parents to raise their kids. Just like everywhere else, as long as you're aware of everything your kids are doing, and who their friends are, and there's open communication, this is a wonderful place to put down roots."
