3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family had a negative experience at this school. My child was not given support outlined in their 504 plan and the principal had terrible communication. The 504 plan was not followed even after several phone calls and meetings. Over the course of two years my child experienced a lot of anxiety going here. We are at a new school in the same district and my child is thriving. It's a shame that we had to leave our neighborhood school because of fears that my child was being emotionally and educationally harmed.Parent Review1y ago - Mann Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been the WORST school I have ever had a child of mine attend. Please, feel free to browse the other reviews here, where some happen to be from actual students who were afraid for their safety. It’s very unfortunate to experience extreme unprofessional behavior and communication from the staff, ESPECIALLY from counselors such as Harold Lewis II. I have both witnessed, and experienced for myself, tactics of intimidation and defensiveness during conversation with students and parents, including physical methods. Any inappropriate behavior from students, such as fighting and bullying, is encouraged by counseling staff, as they do not address these issues in an effective and professional manner. FOR YOUR OWN AND YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THIS SCHOOL. Do everything in your power to avoid enrolling them in this school, as unfortunately you WILL regret it. The teachers are overworked and dismissive. If you have no choice but to send them here and you and your child have to endure the nature of the school’s ability to truly educate, please don’t hesitate to REPORT them, even to the district if necessary. Sadly, they do bank on the fact that working parents tend to be short on time given their work schedules, so it’s best to avoid this school at all costs. Good luck.Parent Review4mo ago - Crawford High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrawford is an amazing school with many talented young students who are motived to learn. The staff at Crawford is great, they support the students with their needs. Our school has an awesome program for those who want to enter the medical field with many programs/clubs and great AP classes. The sports team is great having one best cross country team in San Diego and soccer team. Crawford happily supports all students who have learning differences. Crawford is a very diverse school with many students coming from all over the world. We all support each other culture and believes. As incoming Senior of the class of 2020, Crawford is a great school and I am glad to attend this school.Student Review4y ago - Check out schools near 5704 Bates St.

"I work closed by, my commute is short. However it a little busy where there’s school, so leaving early is a must. "

"I have been living here for 5 years - since July 2015. It's very safe and secluded. Neighbors are friendly and quiet. On many days you can see the fireworks from afar too. "

"Somewhat far from freeways. But overall it’s easy and never any traffic! There are a lot of lights going pretty much any direction, which is the only downfall."

"The neighborhood is changing. Many homes were owned by elderly people and unfortunately not maintained. Now there is a resurgence of younger families moving in and renovating. Kids are starting to play outside and you see more mothers on walks in the mornings. The neighborhood park is getting renovated as well. Close to target, Starbucks, etc."
