4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI see that the teachers are creative, very smart, and love their students. I mean sincerly LOVE them. They know the type of children they are working with, and they truly know how to communicate with them. As a substitute teacher, I have worked there a whole lot, and at other schools around shreveport, and I am totally impressed with the order, from the organization of the administration, to the cleanliness and children friendly atmosphere of the school. It is on par with some of the magnet schools I have seen, really! "great neighborhood to walk and play, safe, centrally located, near shopping and restaurants, friendly neighbors, mature trees with great shade. Diverse ages, single and married. Near work. Children went to CE Byrd Magnet - something for every student academics, sports, clubs, music, cheering, pep squad"
