3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagewell its currently 2022 of April 28th , I've been here for about 7 or 8 months . I have ups and downs about this school . first of all , from my experiences the teachers are A1 , I wouldn't say all of them but mine are , they actually care about your future , they stay on top of you for homework , trying to make sure your credit is up , Gpa is in check , community service hours are up to date and all that . now I don't know what the other reviews are talking about from years ago because I'm pretty sure these are a new set of teachers and they're good at their job . now the staff and once again from MY experience I'd say they're A1 too . they give us so many opportunities that Miami Dade county would never like its literally no possible way you could fail at b.a. or not graduate unless you're just not doing anything , anything you need help with they got , I'm talking about class recovery , edmentum , tutors all that , its so much you can do to pass like they're literally giving you the key . they have a variety of clubs you can join , there's chorus , band , med , jrotc , art , track m, football , swim , baseball , lgbqt group , law , entreprenuership , language , culinary and more , you could take college classes for free , FOR FREE . paid scholarship opportunities and everything . now fun wise , its a lot of fun . its a lot of spirit at b.a , spirit week was the best . we'd have the dj in lunch sometimes the cheerleaders dance during lunch , we'd have the band playing music , sport cars out so we can go see , people coming to our school to talk to us , big meetings in the auditorium and etc . now the students on the other hand .. I'm not gone sugar coat like I'm the perfect student lol but you have to watch who you hang around, this school is very diverse , but its mostly a black school , and the staff here is perfect for that they make sure we stay good and don't fall into the streets , the system , or the grave because that's what's life all about seeing black people fail ,especially young black people , but not on they're watch . they gone make sure we all make it . now if you reading this thinking about coming to this school , look don't b shy these ppl don't care what you got and what you don't got , don't take the drugs path , don't get peer pressured into doing something you don't want to do , don't skip class because it will effect you HEAVILY , I'm telling you miss a class and you gotta F for the quarter already , bullying isnt tolerated at allStudent Review2y ago - Pinewood Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince the principal has resigned this school has been a mess. No one I mean no one contacts you when your child is injured or in a fight. The 5th grade teachers have had the audacity to tell me someone taking my child’s belongings is not their problem. They say they love what they do but do not assist child when they are needing help. My child has been bullied by the same 2 kids here for the last 3years no assistance or attention focused on the bully just on the victim my child. After being informed numerous times of what the aspergers autism child’s triggers are the teachers disregard it and does what works for them not for the child. It’s disgusting the way the throw your concerns to the wayside. Hopefully there will be some change but we won’t be around to see it.Parent Review2y ago - Silver Lakes Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is fairly smaller than the average middle school in Broward County so it makes students school experience more personable.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 5600 NW 59th St #8.
