6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Madison Meadows has been awful. It has been absolutely challenging trying to catch up my fifth grader after COVID. The school has not offered any tutoring before or after school programs other than sports, and most kids at the school play sports. The families are so stuck up and entitled and the school Board typically sides with all of the parent "doctors" instead of listening to other school officials. There has been no remediation with covid funding other than SOCIAL EMOTIONAL. My daughter has failed english and math for two years and she is still getting passed onto the next grade level making it impossible for her. The admin sucks. First year principals always suck but this one does not discipline students and has not disclosed certain opportunities to all students, such as the field trip to Washington D.C. Parents were not even told about it, and only a secret group of PTO members sent their kids. The fifth grade field trip to the camping in the Pines was cancelled and no other opportunity was given to my daughter to socialize. The counselors and intervention support is very minimal and it's ridiculous that they are allowing all the students to fall behind. These reports are not accurate. Only 30% of 8th graders in the country passed math last year. These stats are all from PAID reviewers bc Madison focuses on fundraising and they have a score of 5 for family engagement only because they pester the Sh*t out of parents making them sign up for 15 apps for "communicating " and they email 5 days a week. Each teacher has their own website to navigate making it impossible for my 5th grader to find out where to get his homework. They claim they don't give homework unless something isn't done in class but all their in-school classwork is still online. Kids are not taught HOW to type but they are expected to. Parents are responsible for 60% and there are no consequences for failing. What a disappointment after all I have heard about "Madison" - I'm pulling my kids and going to Osborn.Parent Review9mo ago - Madison Richard Simis School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children loved this school. They still talk about how great their experience was when they went here. From school lunches to individualized help, this school was amazing. The campus is also beautiful with so much natural light.Parent Review8mo ago - Central High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm actually surprised that Central is getting a below average rating. I've been very happy with the school for my great grandson who lives with me.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 5509 N 1st St.
