"We don't have any community events. However, most neighbors are friendly and probably lend a helping hand if needed. Many take walks, ride their bikes, and/or walk their dogs most every day. It's a nice, quiet. low key neighborhood. "

"Great neighborhood for kids. Especially on the culdesac streets! A lot of kids of many ages. On our street alone, are about 10-12 kids ranging in age from 3-17. Tons of people out walking, bike riding and skateboarding as well as fishing and SUP. "

"it's not unique. my neighborhood isn't really kid friendly. there are none. just older ppl. I'd like to get out of this neighborhood. my husband and I dont like it. I wouldn't recommend this area "

"THE LANDINGS... This is a gated community with the best "West of the Trail" location in all of Sarasota. Excellent schools nearby, shopping and restaurants of all kind just outside of the gate. A most attractive friendly community with a well run HOA."

"I have lived and worked in this lovely and prestigious residential neighborhood just West of the Trail (U.S. 41) for many years. I am delighted with the esthetically-pleasing community improvements made in both our area, as well as the architectural and commercial additions to downtown Sarasota, which are designed and built in superb taste and appropriate function for the benefit of the entire community. We consider Sarasota to be a model city in terms of combining the best cultural, health and safety aspects of city living within a natural tropical and marine environment. Other cities should emulate the interesting, diverse and well-planned city that Sarasota has grown into over the years."

"Location... Location... Location! The Landings is close to everything. Shopping, Best Schools, Parks close by. 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and 10 minutes to downtown Sarasota. This is the best gated community located west of the Trail. Sarasota County taxes."
