Description

This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from September 04, 2023
Wonderful opportunity to get into Newton! This home is perfect for an investor, developer or even owner occupied buyer. The house itself needs some updating but would be well worth the time & effort. The bedrooms are all a nice size and and there is room for expansion with a sizable walk up attic. The setting of the home allows for plenty of parking. As an investment there is a good possibility of removing the home and creating a couple of townhomes. Absolutely check with the Town on that option! The Charles River is right down the street to enjoy jogging or biking and the Village is filled with nice restaurants and cafes and is only a half mile away. Don’t miss out on this solid investment!

"Newton is an excellent city to live in. Because its a large city (85K population) it has a large offering of amenities for all types of residents from an excellent public library, senior housing and activities/transportation, and excellent schools. But yet it is divided into 13 villages so you never feel like you're in a large city. You get the suburban feel with the urban amenities only 5 miles to Boston. Public transportation is excellent with bus, rail, and subway throughout. I've been living here since 1991 and working as an agent for 14 years. Would be happy to discuss details with any prospective residents..."
