9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son liked the staff and made many friends in his first year. The teachers remained professional, engaging and compassionate through the tough pandemic period. I really feel bad for all they had to endure but my hat's off to them for putting my son's development and education first. Kids in my son's class came in at varying levels of literacy and by the end of the first three months, most had made huge strides in reading and math. I loved that the school focuses not just on memorizing facts but on coming up with problems and defining them. My son likes to come home and make up math problems to stump me. This is the type of inspired learning I wanted him to develop. Super glad to be part of this school community. Cons: lunch period is too short to allow kids sufficient time to eat. Pros: Teachers are definitely A+ in this school; students come from families that care about education and support the school in various ways; and the Inventor's Maker Space and after-school Science curriculum are best-in-class (amazing for an elementary school)!Parent Review1y ago - North Bethesda Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally don't like this school because first they are not strict enough and the students can be mean and bully you. They do have a dress code, but don't enforce it, so what is the point of having it. Some students can be very disrespectful to teachers and their peers. They talk back when they don't like something, they talk bad about other people, and they think it is funny to prank or do their little dirty tricks on people. And sometimes the teachers don't even do anything about it. The school/teachers let the students say bad words. Ok to be fair, teachers are nice, but that does not make up for the other parts. If you are thinking about going to this school, I 100% do not recommend you to go to this school.Student Review9mo ago

"It’s a very eclectic, diverse neighborhood. Lots of children, and being close to the park is nice for young families. I wouldn’t say it’s a particularly friendly neighborhood. If you’re looking for a neighborhood where people hang out outside, chat on the sidewalks, etc., you’re better off elsewhere. "

"Live here - downsized from a large colonial in Potomac. Love it. Very convenient to restaurants in Bethesda, metro stops, half mile to Beltway and I270 entrances. Great school districts. Very good Board of Directors, lots of facilities - pool, tennis, exercise room. Financially solid condo association."

"The Promenade is a full service luxury hi-rise located within 3 minutes to both 495 and I-270. Amenities are equal to a country club style of living. METRO Shuttle comes to the lobby daily M-F for your convenience. "

"Close enough to Downtown Washington Dc but not as crowded! Inside the beltway. Minuets to I270, I495 and Metro! Great Schools, Safe and Neat area! Convenient Commute to the city and highways! Great Entertainment, shopping and fun places! Overall it is Bethesda!"

"The Promenade lives up to it's name and luxury appeal. Each unit comes with assigned parking and unlimited parking outside for guests or additional spaces needed. The 24 hour Security Gate and Concierge provide security and services to all residents and the Country Club type amenities are amazing. I also live in The Promenade because of it's fantastic location, close to NIH, Walter Reed and 495/270. "
