"Don’t live on the north side of Opelousas (Dangerous) the south side of Opelousas is still really nice and a quiet place to live! The culture and food is really good! It is a very unique place to live! I’ve lived here my whole life and it is definitely a place I can live the rest of my life around! Overall very good place to live. The down town part of Opelousas is really cool too! A lot of old antique building that make really good for pictures! Really really good food as well! Opelousas is home to some of the best cajun food in Louisiana as well! "

"I’m not entirely sure, we do not have any dog owners in my immediate area. I do see stray dogs from time to time, but i am not sure who their owners are. I don’t care for dogs so I don’t go looking for owners either."

"Opelousas is an ok place to live if you're not into the city life. It offers great agricultural opportunities. The older people around town are very nice and courteous. The food here is the best ever. "
