Her teacher took the time to make a different and harder spelling test for my daughter. She is now in the gifted program and is being challenged for the first time. It's been hard on her because she never had to really work for her grades. I am so happy they recognized she needed to be challenged, and so far her teachers have been wonderful! 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had two students graduate from PFHS, one in 2018 and one in 2020. Both students took advantage of honors classes throughout the 4 years as well and dual enrollment through University of Idaho (U of I) and North Idaho College (NIC). One student graduated PFHS with just one class remaining for her Associate's degree. They also had a department dedicated to assisting students with college admissions, campus tours, scholarships, grants, and even in-person FAFSA workshops where they helped for every question every step of the way. For students not on the university path, they're partnered with KTEC where students do morning general ed classes at PFHS and afternoon workforce/industry-business grade training at KTEC. They really strive to help each student succeed based on their individual path. Some of the teachers are great but the kids here are rude and have terrible heygiene which is why so many of us get sick. Also the school doesn't do anything about bullying.
