4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children attended CMS from 2018-2022. We feel fortunate that our kids got to learn in such a supportive environment. Our kids span the educational spectrum. One needing IEP services for a learning disability, the other needing 504 accommodations for a chronic disease as well as accelerated academic learning opportunities. From push-in English to honors Science and taking HS math on CMS's campus, we are very happy with the educational variety offered to our children. The teachers, admin, para & office staff made our children feel welcomed, known & part of the CMS community. Considering how much turmoil can typically accompany those middle school years, we look back on our kid's years at CMS with affection. They both went out for sports (football, track, volleyball), enjoyed the elective offerings (drama, and art) and were given the tools to successfully transition to HS. CMS is a wonderful 2 year pit stop to guide student's transition from elementary to high school.Parent Review1mo ago - Central Elementary School

"Rural - you like or you don’t. There are no sidewalks so safety is an issue. Because it’s rural a dog that leaves the yard away from there master could easily come upon a coyote or get in trouble in a cattle owners field. People also put out rat poison (chickens attract them). Your dog must be leashed and on a fenced property. "

"Too many city people moving out here to be in the country and then try to get rid of the farms and animals and rural feel to make it like the city they just left. Leave rural areas alone if you move or stay in the city. "

"It is a cross between suburbia and rural America, with mostly 5 acre-plus lots. There are numerous horse properties. We see deer, in groups as large as four; bunnies; squirrels; numerous species of birds; and I even saw a weasel once. We also hear coyotes but rarely see them. We have good neighbors in nearly every direction. I can see Mt. Rainier in the distance on a walk and the stars are beautiful."

"No bus service in my neighborhood. Fifteen mins. Into Granite Falls. Granite has bus transportation. "
