Description
Enjoy peace of mind and hard to find amenities in this 4 bedroom 2.5 bath, 3 story, updated Lawrenceville home! No worries about the furnace (2022), AC (2020), H2O tank (2023), roof (2017), sewer line (2020) as they have all been replaced. More UPDATES: all main floor archways were widened to create an open feel; brick fireplaces exposed; new engineered hardwood floors; gorgeous Carrera style quartz kitchen countertops, subtly shaded subway tile backsplash, huge kitchen sink and faucet. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on each upper floor, this home offers great convenience. Two “nook” areas – between the kitchen/dining areas and on the 2nd floor between bedrooms provide opportunity for desk/work areas. If you are a project guru, check out the workshop, next to the lower level. Outside, a new cement patio for summer gatherings or a grill, a LEVEL backyard (think Bocce!), and an oversized GARAGE with space to be your own mechanic (or rent it out)! A great home and amazing opportunity!

"I easily commute to the north shore via car, bus or bike. Getting to the strip district is an easy straight shot and the same goes for downtown. Honestly I don’t think the commute could be any easier"

"I lived in lawrenceville before the new 3000 dollar condos going up. it's getting too expensive to live here. I enjoy living close to the city but it's too expensive"

"I moved into Upper Lawrenceville about 4 years ago. The neighborhood has improved since I have moved in with more professionals living here and the commercial district on Butler getting some of the best restaurants in the city. Having said that, this is still a blue collar neighborhood. People watch out for each other, but it takes a little bit of time to get to know everyone. On the down side, public transportation is still iffy and accessibility overall may be difficult for those who cannot drive because of the steepness of the hill. If you do drive, it is ten minutes to shadyside, twelve or fifteen to downtown (depending on traffic), and about twenty to squirrel hill. The housing stock is mixed in quality, though there seem to be a good number of complete rehabs improving the general character of the neighborhood. The central lawrenceville shopping (only a couple of minutes away) is one of the most interesting in the city with a cider house, a bowling alley that has band, several restaurants, the best bakery in the city, lots of clothing and stores with knick-knacks, antiques, new record stores, the best lesbian bar in the city, and a good deal of nightlife.
