Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from April 07, 2024
Price reduced! Vaulted ceilings throughout are killer! Stylishly designed, fully renovated move-in ready single story home rebuilt from the ground up. Everything upgraded. Located on a charming street adjacent to View Park, this house offers a perfect modern lifestyle. From the moment you enter, your eye flows through the open layout to the roomy private backyard - with large fruit trees. An added bonus is the detached multi-purpose game room or office (measuring approx. 210 square feet) also open to the back yard. Great natural light and vaulted ceilings create a sense of relaxing space. The neutral color palette is punctuated with warm tones in tile and plaster finished walls. There is a long driveway for plenty of off-street parking. Really a great house at a market responsive price. (Buyer should do all their due diligence to confirm room count, bath count, lot size, and square footage, which includes converted garage.)

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy sister went here for a year. The emotional trauma she went through from the students themselves and at the hands of the staff affected her for the rest of her middle school years. She is special needs and her teachers did absolutely nothing for her. They would give her packets printed off of Google and would never answer her questions or show her the lectures on subjects. Students would attempt to throw water on her hearing aids and staff never attempted to discipline them. Don’t bring your child here.Other Review1y ago - Crenshaw Science, Technology, Engineering, Math And Medicine Magnet

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a black parent of a child who was attending Crenshaw H.S. This is an under performing school that needs to be shut down. The inner city need vouchers. They need to shut down this school for failing students in both math and English. People, we need to wake up...we are and should not be victims of our own government institutions!!!!!Other Review7y ago - Fifty-Fourth Street Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love this school. Test scores mean nothing if the teachers don't care about the students. The staff and teachers CARE so much about the students. This school is a 10 to me, my child thrived here and I am so thankful to the staff.Other Review7y ago - Check out schools near 5136 S Victoria Ave.

"The area is definitely up and coming and changing everyday. Home prices are increasing a lot and I would say the area is being gentrified due to its location. People walk their dog at night and the area is not really any more dangerous than wealthier areas. "

"There are many families with little ones living here and a far local parks. Although I have never had a bad experience with my fellow neighbors.. I do feel like you should take care of your belongings or loved ones when out and about. And that’s everywhere. Just be safe. I’ve lived here for 20 yrs and I now have my baby son. I’m comfortable shopping and walking the sidewalks with him. I just always say to be cautious and safe. It’s a very nice area once you get familiar with it."

Very safe growing up for me guess because i knew and went to school with the homies from around the way. Older community now but its always been home for me. My name still on the concrete lol."

"I live in this neighborhood and you can still walk around with your purse and not worry about getting mugged so overall this neighborhood is still relatively safe there is some gang activity however most of the neighbors and people in the neighborhood are fairly friendly also it could be a little cleaner after all there are a lot of taxpayers in this neighborhood"

"I would not live here ever again. I lived there my wholly life and was able to move far away as a grown up. Not recommended for raising children. The worst area in and around. Very dangerous. A lot of gangs and robberies. Too much gang violence and killings. Get out of Los Angeles of possible. Give your family a better chance at life. You don’t have to be a gang banger to be affected by that life style. Trust me I know. "
