The administrators just need to use more common sense when dealing with kids to utilize justifiable disciplinary actions. I was coming to terms with myself and who I was and my peers did not make it easy by any means. None of the staff at the time were competent with bullying, harassment, etc. and found it better to suspend me than address the actual problem.Other Review11y ago - A C Jones High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated in 2009 at this school. To be honest, it's a pretty terrible school. I was bullied at this one as well by some of the athletic kids - along with my friends - and none of the staff wanted to do anything about it since athletics brings a large portion of finances. There was a lot of instruction for the test and no actual learning, along with free passes. There were competent teachers, but sadly, they are few and far between. "I've only lived here a couple of months and so far - so good. I moved here from Minnesota. The city is clean and because it's a smaller city it has been easy to find everything I need."
