N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from Roosevelt in 1947 when it was a Jr. High School, grades 7 through10. It was an excellent school then. 4 athletic sports all four years including tackle football. We had an excellent music program, both instramental and vocal. The campus was immaculate because we had gardening classes. It was a beautiful campus. We received and excellent education and were well prepare for the future. "We have a food drive/giveaway every Saturday on the corner of 139th Street and Wilmington. Other than that, we really don’t normally have anything g going on in this city other than people on dirt bikes and the motorcycles going back and forth very very loudly."

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 19 years and it is beautifully kept up by neighbors. Children play safely outside, we walk our dogs, water the lawns and folks are out jogging and taking walks with their families daily. I Love it here."
