6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school. The teachers absolutely love the kids and the parents are engaged and supportive. I love this school. One caveat: Principal Kaiser is horrendous. She has no business running a school. Two examples:1) the school is so unsupportive of clubs that the local rec council has stopped supporting programs at Hampton. 2) our neighbors kid rides the bus, which usually arrives by 4:30. At 5:04, our worried neighbor called the school and spoke to Ms. Kaiser directly who said she was too busy to let parents know about the late bus. She needs to be fired.Parent Review1y ago - Loch Raven High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTransferring to loch Raven for my senior year was pretty nerve wracking, I didn’t know what to expect. First off, the administration is extremely nice and supportive. My counselor is great! The students are pretty chill, except for some of the 9th graders. There are some altercations, but that is to be expected. The teachers are fine, just do your work and your set. I find that in the AP classes, teachers put in more effort; there is less computer work in those classes. The cafeteria food isn’t good, but it isn’t terrible, then again it’s free. Loch Raven offers qualifying students to do duel enrollment with CCBC free of charge- super happy about that. Overall, this is a pretty good small public high school.Student Review1mo ago - Ridgely Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's disappointing that this school is the highest rated one in the area. The kids are cruel, some of the teachers are blatantly sexist and "too uncomfortable" to teach certain topics, and the cafeteria chicken has given some kids food poisoning. The environment is okay, and sure some of the teachers care, but the principal is very ineffective, and the asst. principal does more than he does to be honest. The new counselors aren't very helpful, and there isn't enough work given to challenge the students. If you REALLY want your kids to be high school ready, or even remotely college ready, enroll your kid in private school.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 503 Stratford Ct.
