9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent educators and staff. Everyone is warm and welcoming. The programs have been exceptional and helped my child excel in almost every subject. He’s consistently scoring top of the district and I know it’s because of the caring teachers and programs at RidgeWood. The building itself is newer as well which is a bonus. When we moved recently we made sure our child could still attend RidgeWood.Parent Review1y ago - Northville High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely dissatisfied with this school. Despite its high ranking on the website, we decided to move to this city with the hope of providing a better education for my children. However, this school has proven to be a disappointment in multiple ways.First and foremost, there is a significant number of young and inexperienced teachers who lack the skills to handle challenging teenagers. Instead of guiding and motivating these students, they seem to favor the easier and more compliant ones. This approach only exacerbates the problems faced by the struggling students, as they are often treated poorly and given unfairly low grades.Furthermore, many teachers in this school display a lack of enthusiasm and effort in the classroom. Rather than actively teaching, they simply distribute outdated homework assignments that often make little sense. Some of these assignments even contain step-by-step instructions that do not align with the current software versions. It is disheartening to see that the teachers merely recycle old materials without bothering to review them before distributing them to the students. Some of the teachers at this school often respond to students seeking help during seminars with sarcastic comments or dismissive behavior. Instead of providing the support and guidance that students need, they tend to push them away and insist on discussing the matter during regular class time.To make matters worse, my child has shown no improvement in their PSAT scores between the fall and spring semesters. This indicates that they have wasted a year at this school, learning virtually nothing. It deeply saddens me to see how this school has managed to negatively impact my child's emotional, mental, and academic well-being. Throughout the year, my child has struggled in various aspects, leading to a significant decline in their overall experience.Overall, my experience with this school has been highly disappointing. Despite its seemingly impressive reputation, it has failed to provide the quality safety annd education I had hoped for.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 50285 Seven Mile Rd.
