Sat 3/2.,10:30-12Noon and Sun3/3, 11:30- 1PM From rolling fields to wooded trails and ravines leading to Maquoit Bay, no area of Brunswick has proved more popular with buyers than this rural southwest corner of town. Close at hand, you'll find a public landing on the bay, woods and trails preserved by the town and miles more at Crystal Spring Farm (owned and managed by the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust), featuring the most beloved farmer's market around! Oak Ridge Road is a single street neighborhood where residents are 'neighbors' in the truest sense of the word. Built in 1971, this home has been well maintained and offers a deceptive amount of square footage and lots of oak flooring, with 3BRs and 2 baths, kitchen, living room with fireplace and wood stove, and laundry all on the 1st level. The sunroom extends nearly the entire length of the back of the home, showcasing the quiet beauty of the woods behind. Downstairs, the spacious family room (with another fireplace and wood stove) is just a portion of the daylight, walk-out, basement! Your house guests will delight in having a private retreat and full bath when they visit-and you will too! Living is easy with the 2C, attached garage, and a small pole barn for your gear! Privacy like this is rare, and delightful!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child switched to this school this year. Nothing but one disappointment after another. Horrible school. Children are not offered the help they require, assignments are half explained or not explained at all. Teachers aren’t held accountable, communication or is little to nothing. When my child asks for help via email, it takes days up to a week to get an answer and most times the assignment was already turned in. I have to be copied on all emails and I always have to jump in and prompt the teacher to respond. Very frustrating. The test scores are low as a whole. The school itself is horrid. Old rundown and dirty looking with a horrible odor. I was beside myself and physically upset when I first saw the school. I’m so sorry I made the live to Brunswick and I fully intend on returning to our old community. I can’t wait as my child thrived there. I would highly suggest not choosing Brunswick for the schools.Parent Review3y ago - Kate Furbish Elementary School

"I’ve lived here for three years. At first I wasn’t happy because it wasn’t my choice to live here. But after about two year of living here, I have fallen in love with this small town. I feel safe and I am able to walk around at 3 am with no worries. I love to explore. I always seem to be discovering new nooks and crannies everyday. There’s always something new, even when I feel like I have seen it all. The restaurants are nice and the people are usually lovely. Little Tokyo is something you must try while you are here! (As long as you’re a Japanese food lover) If you are deciding on coming to Brunswick, I say go for it. It will be worth your while."

"Walking your dog in the neighborhood is a wonderful way to visit with your neighbors. There are very few cars so most of the time you can just walk in the road. Everyone picks up after their dogs."

"I have no children, but schools seem good. The Rec center has many summer and winter programs. Apparently, I need to write more to have my comments accepted."

"For some reason we have a lot of traffic in our neighborhood, but otherwise, it's lovely. Also, Coffin School is great but looks rundown - they have a great head teacher and they put the interests of the kids first. HBS is more rule oriented and is far too big for an elementary."

"Close to everything, yet very peaceful, mature neighborhood. Elementary and Junior High schools are a few minutes walk from the house. High school is less than 2 miles, with bus stop 2 houses down. Police, fire, groceries, train and bus stations are all within 1 mile. "

"Near great restaurants. Walk to Amatos. 2 hospitals nearby. Bowdoin College campus and the Maine State Music Theatre. Amtrack Downeaster free long term parking. Near the ocean."
- Jane U.

"The houses are not close together because of the large lots so there is a spacious feeling. There are many trees and greenery. The traffic is minimal because there are no major thoroughfares and no reason to go to this neighborhood unless you live there. There are very good public schools easy to walk to or ride a bike: elementary, middle and jr.high. Bowdoin College adjoins this neighborhood."
