4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm aware there are good schools and bad schools but what I know about Gordon HS is revolting to see how people are putting it down. If your child is lazy and does not want to do, the teachers will be annoyed and frustrated. My son has been attending Gordon and is graduating this year. He is an honor student, has about 12 college credits, is in the medical magnet where he's taking EMT certification while staying on the principal honor list. He's been accepted by 5 colleges with scholarship for some in the $16,000/each. "Been living in Northwest Yonkers for 6 years now. Love it here. Beautiful Victorian homes. Beautiful views of the Hudson river, hiking trails and its very safe and quiet. Lots of things to do nearby like Ridge Hill and the new Boyce Thompson. Friendly neighbors and proximity to the city and surrounding river towns cant be beat."
