5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHawthorne has had a bad image in the past, but it has done wonders to turn it around. There are many programs in place dedicated to supporting students and their needs. Some of these programs include after-school tutoring, therapy, intervention specialists, ELD support, AP classes, academies, etc. The school district also offers teachers regular professional development (some required and some optional). The majority of teachers on this campus are passionate educators who truly care about the students. For the most part, the students at the school are happy to be here and ready to learn.Teacher Review6y ago - Leuzinger High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot so good of a reputation so it was scary to enroll my son here but it’s actually a great school. My son has told me he gets along very well and very little to none bullying you see. I’ve met the teachers they are very nice and so is the staff. Teachers are strict though but it’s a good school.Parent Review2y ago - Lawndale High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had the opportunity to go to an elite private school for free in Los angeles. We chose to go to Lawndale High School for their academies and their Sports program. We are so happy that we did. The academics especially in the honors and AP classes are excellent.Parent Review9mo ago - Felton Elementary School
