8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of the best schools in the district. The principal and staff are doing a phenomenal job and the quality is great. Their IB program is probably best in Chicago. The school is also located in beautiful surroundings and have a very active and supportive community. I am really happy my children attended school hereParent Review1y ago - McPherson Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMcPherson has been an exemplary school. Our son started in the preschool program and is currently in second grade. The teachers have really put their full effort into the kids, even with the enduring pandemic. The feedback with the parents has always been solid, both from the teachers and principal. I don't think the middling score reflects the changes that McPherson has undergone in the last few years with its academic strides and inclusivity.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 4825 N Bell Ave.

"it's very family friendly with good schools. the only drawback is that the housing market is tight. many people have had to leave because developers haven't included affordable housing in their plans. "

"This street is sunny and mellow. It's so safe you could literally leave your doors unlocked. People with little children and pets are all around. Parking on the street is easy, no permit. School are nearby and of course, Lincoln Square with shops and restaurants... takes about 5 minutes by foot to reach the heart of Lincoln Ave (nr. Lawrence)"
