6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePoor leadership puts students at risk. Doors to the main entrance can be found "propped open" while school is in session. The handbook isn't worth the paper it is printed on; the principal makes the rules up as she sees fit.Parent Review2y ago - Creswell Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCreswell Middle has amazing opportunities for kids with 24 electives over the 4 quarters, a fantastic band/choir program, super fun and engaging activities put on by the principal and staff. All but one teacher I’ve communicated with seemed respectful and accommodating. Communication is strong and my kids come home telling me about their day. Academically, the teachers are very accessible. I disagree with grading practices used my many teachers and sometimes feel grades are for behavior not ability. Overall, I’m this area this is one of the best Middle School environments for my kid’s activities, academics, and social emotional learning. All of my kids have positive relationships at this school with peers, teachers, and administrators.Parent Review1y ago - Creswell High School

"The schools are horrible. The education is not enough to be successful in college. I wouldn’t send my kids to school here. "

"City buses are needed. There are transporting city bus rides from Eugene to here & back. We need city bus rides within the city."

"My commute is pretty benign. It is mostly freeway and it takes me under 20 minutes of consistent speed driving to get to my job near the center of Eugene, OR. I rarely have any frustrations with my commute and I have multiple ways of getting around either by surface streets or freeway/highway’s that traffic is never a problem. "

"4th of July festivities, Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, Halloween participation is very high and the annual garage sale around Memorial Day are fun events. They also play movies at the fire station in the summer. "

"Everybody knows everybody. It has a genuine Small town charm. I’ve lived here almost my whole life. "

"Safety: Lots of vandalism, but ittle personal injury. Walking is good but only for around the block, Walking means out of town means waling on the freeway, where cars come fast. One park in town has been given over entirely to playground., forget picnicing, throwing a ball, reading on the grass ... Adults and dogs are not welcome. Not a single dog park, The business district is comprised of four restaurants, two gas stations, two Dari-marts, and two bars. IIf you were not born here, you are disregarded as a human being. Strangers are not welcome at community events. Community events that have been tried had fallen through within a year or two. Cleanlines: some homes are great. Others have become vritual dumps as the planning and zoning codes are enforced sporadically and then forgotten. Traffic is great because no body comes here. Gas prices, on the other hand, are among the lowest. In other words, if you're still contained -- have a family, or if you're just a hermit. Creswell is great. If you're moving here with the expectation of new friends to meet and things to do ... Move someplace else. God knows, I'm trying to. "
