"Probably best neighborhood in city in terms of liveability. The people who live here are friendly and interesting. There is an active homeowner association and a police patrol. This area is convenient to many good schools, public and private, and to good shopping. There are a wide variety of great restaurants, from pizza and casual dining up to the best white tablecloth restaurants in the city. Also convenient to LSU, to the various medical facilities, and to downtown. Great tree canopy. Homes range from grand new mansions to small cottages, which share the love and care of their owners. Expect to pay a bit more in these neighborhoods because it's where so many people want to live. "
