There’s a fight every day at the school in one day my daughter even got involved in it and it wasn’t her fault. The school is awful with fights and my daughter comes home, smelling like vape and smoke Every day it’s ridiculous. By fourth grade my child was making PowerPoint presentations and learning to recite poetry in front of their class. I do wish the school district would have an extensive extracurricular program like our neighboring school district (school band, choir, drama, etc), however despite the lack of enrichment, this school is excellent. Every child has their own computer they take home, PE weekly, dance and art classes when the PTA funds it. The library is huge and amazing. "I don’t like living in simi. It’s quiet and safe and full of paranoid people who moved here because it’s quiet and safe and are convinced they need to keep people from the San Fernando valley out. Its not awful to live here if you have kids, but it’s too far away from the really fun stuff LA has to offer, and it’s not as inexpensive as it once was."
