5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis upcoming school year will be my children's second year attending and we love this school!!! I have never witnessed a greater staff or a better principal! He is very involved with the children and their activities. Its so wonderful to see someone in leadership be so "fun like" involved with elementary students like he is.Parent Review10y ago - Brattleboro Senior Uhsd #6

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been very pleasantly surprised. With one exception my son has had great teachers who challenge him and demand a lot from him. I am fortunate that he is driven to succeed and I have to do little prompting. Academics appear to be very strong and the curricular activities fun and well attended. The Nordic and Track teams had a huge influx of participants this year which speaks well for both the students and the school. The one bad experience was a teacher who demanded a lot but basically we found out that she took most of her material right off the internet. It appeared like she was a hard worker until we found that out. Once my son did it was easy for him to master what she wanted.Parent Review7y ago - Brattleboro Area Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in 7th grade and loves BAMS. She was a moderately interested student in grade school but now has become a interested in excelling. I am so happy. My belief is that it is the atmosphere at BAMS. The teachers and administration make it known what it takes to excel and that they care for the students. Neither my daughter of I have any complaints (except the no lunch food guidelines).Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 45 Frost St.

"Car, 5 minutes to work. Few stoplights in town. Friendly drivers except those from Massachusetts and New York. Main Street gets bogged down with traffic but there are several back ways to get around town. Good city for driving in general."

"I grew up in this neighborhood & am raising my daughter here. I love how bike friendly the neighborhood is and that we can walk both downtown & to the farmer’s market."
