Description

Discover timeless elegance and architectural brilliance in this exquisite 1915 Mediterranean Revival, designed by renowned architect Lester Moore. Nestled in the heart of downtown Riverside, on famed Mission Inn Ave. Located in the Colony Heights Historic District. Moore designed this home with a blend of Italianate and Spanish influence as seen in the overhanging eaves, tiled roof, arched windows and large pillars that support a Juliet balcony. Offering 3,000 sq ft of luxurious living space, 4 generously sized bedrooms, two and a half baths, plus a separate designated office. The main floor features many original details such as quartersawn oak floors, wood burning fireplace, intricate woodwork, and a collection of built-in features, including bookcases in the living room and China hutch in the large formal dining room. Modern comforts are seamlessly integrated with a large, updated kitchen fitted with high-end appliances and convenient laundry and ½ bath. Refurbished basement serving as a stylish mancave. Upstairs you will find 4 generously sized bedrooms, and bathroom off the hallway that comes with original art deco green and black tile walls. The primary bedroom features two closets, charming window seat and large retreat area that would make a perfect nursery, workout room, or office area. Bathroom off the primary offers original tile and tub/shower combo. The outdoor spaces are nicely landscaped, with views of Mt. Rubidoux. Enjoy plenty of hardscape and outdoor kitchen with pizza oven. Rare 4-car garage makes parking a breeze, all securely enclosed within a fully fenced property with an automated gate. Located off the historic Mission Inn Ave, enjoy the convenience of walking to various downtown entertainment, Mt. Rubidoux, Fairmount Park and embrace a sophisticated lifestyle in this architectural gem, where historic charm meets modern luxury. A great candidate for the Mills Act tax savings program.

"I've lived in quite a few cities in SoCal and this neighborhood is the best experience I've had. I moved here with my young son in 2018 and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Not only is the scenery beautiful but it's family oriented, safe to walk at night, and the schools are amazing. the homes are vintage and have won Neighborhood of the Year many times. I am happy to call Downtown Riverside my home. "

"Walking distance from Downtown Riverside; location of mission inn antique stores resturance bars and coffee houses. Also very close to unique and artistic park where you could walk to Rubidoux Mountain. R'mountain is a grate place to hike many go up for a nice fresh view up the mountain to see the city lights and unique view. And if your not a walker you could always go though the Santana Bike trail and test your self how far you could go. It's an active location and could always find something to do; with friendly a neighborhood everybody is welcomed "
