7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school far outweighs any other in the district. Most of the teachers have been helpful, engaging, and clearly passionate about the subject they teach. Of course, there have been examples of blatant favoritism, but the pros outweigh the cons in this scenario. My GIEP was acknowledged and adhered to throughout the school year, and for that, I am thankful. Though, I have heard of experiences with teachers who did not extend the same respect. The Drama Club felt like a professional environment and was overall an excellent, worthwhile endeavor. Most of my complaints, however, come with the End-of-Year video. On the last day of school, all the students are brought into the auditorium to watch a slideshow containing the highlights of the year. These highlights contain pictures of clubs, field trips, and, specifically, students. At the end of my seventh-grade year, we were brought into the auditorium to watch the slideshow. When pictures of specific students came up, people insulted and/or booed at the screen. This seemed upsetting to me, but no teachers intervened. This was especially odd considering that earlier in the week, my class was watching a Percy Jackson movie, and the entire class was punished after a single student clapped during Annabeth's (I think that's her name) death scene. Overall, this is a great school, but the teachers/management have to work on their anti-bullying policies.Student Review1y ago - Bethel Park High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe district hired a new superintendent a few years ago and is realizing its full potential. The high school just won a National Blue Ribbon and they are building a new elementary center. The district offers more than surrounding districts in terms of having a 9 period day, dozens of electives, a robust sports program, and a superior music program.Parent Review1y ago - Abraham Lincoln El School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn terms of public schools, this school is perfect. There is a very strong PTA and school board that is very involved. The students are eager to learn and help each other out. The fact that it is in a walking school district really makes it not only a school, but a community. The teachers really care about the kids and foster their love for learning. It is a great place to raise a family because you are surrounded by people who care about your child's education.Parent Review10y ago - Neil Armstrong 5-6 Middle School
