2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience with registration. Returning Student information incorrect, deleted and no information available in skyward. Last minute notification. Horrible communication on what is actually the real issue other than robot calls with no actual specifics. No STAFF reaches out to you especially after leaving messages. I had to call multiple times to get someone on the phone to try and assist me.Claudia Gonzalez is very rude; no class and no respect when speaking on the phone. She has a tone as if she does not like her job and did not assist this concerned parent, other than to say don't send your child to school on Monday because a schedule will not be available. Quick to give me her information along with her supervisor's as if this is nothing new to her and isn't nothing going to be done about it attitude anyway."I been speaking to parents all day" "Go ahead and call the district" her exact words. My Straight "A" Honors Student has to suffer the consequences of the school's lack of communication & staff that want to hurry up and get you off the phone instead of helping you resolve the actual problem.This is very unfortunate that parents have to deal with this type of non-sense from school administration. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly I am very concerned with the lack of importance given in regards to bullying! I was there to report physical bullying against my daughter with videos showing proof of kids attacking her inside the school as well as the school bus. As I was there, another parent arrived to report physical bullying against her son! Clearly something as serious as this needs to be addressed and enforced properly with students and their parents! The school clearly isn't handling this matter very well. I will be addressing this with the Superintendent of schools, attorney as well as making sure the media gets these videos and is aware of what is going on at George Washington Middle School!Parent Review7mo ago - Costello School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been at Costello a couple years now and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for them staring with the caring staff/teachers to the overall inviting atmosphere the school has for its students and parents. Life with Covid isn’t easy but, the school really does care about making the kids school experience as enjoyable as possible even during rough times.Parent Review1y ago

"dog owners love it around here because it's a great place to walk through. There's not a lot of people traffic, there's parks where you can take ypur dog for a walk. it's just a great place for a dog."

"Safe enough, lots of families and a couple of nice parks for kids but no indoor recreation. Gets dusty due to being so close to the quarry but there are bike trails and forest preserves nearby and a water park in the summer. I'd stay if it was in a better HS district. "

"great hard working blue collar all the way town. Great since everyone is soo down to earth, and everyone works hard for their familys and homes. one of very last towns that still believe in working man wanting a nice place to live, have ur family grow up, and be proud of the fact u live in a town that everyones very old school, a lot of older people that raised kids in the 60s and 70's and now are enjoying their retirement in their homes that they raised there kids, everyone is truly humble, trusting, caring, and very approachable to ask questions, or if you just move in, there happy to see a new family! 😊"
