My final child will be graduating and we leave the school with great memories. This school is uniquely community. With most students residing within The same zip code these kids build life long bonds as they send each other outside of school. Fvhs offers rigger with a large offering of AP courses as well as full support for CCP which allows students to take college level courses. Great sports teams with the award winning OC school spirit squad. FVHS has an impressive arts arena, several state champion sports teams…and an awesome new campus. We are proud Bengal alumni who are excited to watch FVHS continue to soar. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest is finishing his last year at HRES before moving to HRMS. I cannot say enough good things about the teachers at this school. For both of my kids, every single year, I've been blown away by the incredible professionalism, teaching passion and sincere compassion for the kids that their teachers have shown. They are just incredible. The dealt with the move to virtual with such positivity and creativity, making the most out of a hard situation. Again this year, with required masks and other rules, they have managed to maintain the highest standards of teaching--my kids genuinely miss school when they have to be out for a sick day. Personally I don't think the principal is approachable. The VP seems to be though. I think the front desk staff is also kind of short with people (parents and the kids I see coming through) - but I rarely deal with any of those people and it is a small price to pay for the incredible teachers at HRES. Highly recommend quality of education and just feeling good about your kids being in their care all day - while teachers are NOT daycare, the fact is that our kids are under their care and I couldn't ask for a better experience for my kids.Parent Review2y ago - Wake Early Coll Heal

Teachers will rarely listen to or try to understand a student's point of view. The administration will ignore many student concerns without any investigation unless parents interfere. Many of the work handed is just busy work and rarely has an impact on student learning. There are some helpful teachers but there are even more cruel teachers. It's incredibly hard to fix grades that a student didn't deserve without parental interference. "Dogs are always welcome in our neighborhood. Lots in our neighborhood already. There are also a bunch of private dog areas and clean up stations. With a dog park down the street and walk ways. "
