2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey don't care for the health and safety of their students. Their education is lacking because they spend too much time reviewing previous years instead focusing on the information necessary for success after high school. Then the fact that 2 bomb threats have been received in the span of a week and no extra security measures have been put into place. Anybody and everybody can walk in to the school without checking what they bring in.Parent Review1y ago - Lafayette Upper Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe tried to get excited about sending our children to Walker-Grant, but it has turned into a nightmare. The administration is inept at best. The new principal is condescending and just looking to climb the education profession ladder. Bullying, fighting, and discrimination run rampant and unchecked. Teachers are passive-aggressive and uninterested in providing an appropriate environment for students to learn in. Student behavior goes unchecked and unpoliced. Walker-Grant is the worst of what Fred City Schools has to offer and is a direct reflection of what is happening at the district level. The goal of this district and school is not to educate children safely, it’s to limit liability of running a disaster of an educational institution. If your child makes it out of Walker-Grant without PTSD, self-esteem issues, and/ or failing grades, consider yourself lucky. Our goal became to just survive each day until we could send our children to private school or move out of this district. If I could give zero stars, I would.Parent Review3w ago - Check out schools near 426 Hunter St.
