6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible! Mrs. Jones is unpredictable and unprofessional, the school is filthy, bullying is acceptable and they do not care about their students ! Protocols are not followed! The students are the ones that suffer! Taking it to mrs. Kelly Trinidad did not help (she is fine with the bullying and improper actions of the staff! I will be voting them out!Parent Review5y ago - Pioneer Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers yell and scream at kids at this school. Kids are forced to sit and be quiet all day except a 20 min recess. They pulled their sped program. LPS in general doesn’t want or encourage parental involvement and prefers you pick your child up in pick up line so that you don’t go in the school. Learning is predominantly done on iPads and with YouTube. There’s major behavioral issues in the classroom that aren’t handled or handled well. Issues like desk being thrown by children and screaming at cussing.Parent Review8mo ago - Macarthur Middle School

"Dogs run loose, transients poison dogs to break into your home, coyotes and bobcats eat your pets. Lawton is not a great place to live"

"I drive to work takes about 16 minutes to get there. Traffic is a little heavy when the school year is going. Otherwise it will take only 16 min from east to west side. But watch out for potholes since the city of Lawton doesn’t take care of the streets. The lights are time sometimes perfect if you hit it just right but be aware of people running the light thinking that rushing to get where they need to go is important and the their live and other lives doesn’t matter. Sometime the cops let it happen. "

"Quiet neighborhood but a lot of crime in this city. High unemployment, panhandlers and drugs. Housing is cheap, culture is lacking."

"We celebrate holidays together at the park and all over the neighborhood. Residents bring horses for the children to ride as they walk slowly side by side. Barbecues all the time. We help keep majority of our yards manicured and cut during the summer months. We check on our elders here and make sure everyone is alright and safe. "

- Adriandelgado96

"People don’t pick up after their dogs. If there was a way to institute the necessity for dog owners to pick up after their dog then things would be smooth but a lot of owners just leave their dogs poop everywhere and it is a mine field."

"Traffic on Rogers lane is beyond miserable, mostly because everyone speeds, and traffic lights seem to be more of an option than the law. 38th and Rogers lane is deadly. Rogers lane is out dated and need to be bulldozed, with an actual bypass put in. Too much traffic for the size of the town. But Lawton public officials could care less about our safety. I44 is pretty good though. Once you get off of Rogers lane. "
