"Haven’t seen no kids here full-time see them here on holidays and weekends visiting it’s more of a elderly neighborhood I am in. and if you have a pit bull they will call the cops and get you arrested for having them run loose always have your dogs on the leash."

"Gonzales is a wonderful area to live work and raise your children in. The schools are awesome. East Ascension High School is a superb place to educate your children at. The programs and opportunities at the high school are the best that I have ever seen. I truly love my town."

"If you don’t live in a subdivision there won’t be any sidewalks to ride bikes or walk dogs. There is no public transportation and no sidewalks except for in the city limits. The schools are highly ranked and are very good."
