6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think the speech language pathologist at this school could be doing a lot more so students can overcome the challenges that they face with speech and language problems. I'm not sure if she does not care about the students with disabilities or if it is just time for her to retire. Fortunately, the special education teacher at this school is incredibly hard working and goes above and beyond to help her kids succeed. The new principal is also involved and a valuable staff member helping families and kids who are struggling in various waysParent Review1y ago - Oaks Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey took away our first amendment right to assemble they made a rule so we couldn't be in a group of 6 or more people they hardly check to see if students have any weapons on them the school janitor found a bullet in the locker room, they don't deal with problems well, most of the teachers are cool tho, our current principal Ms. Garcia barely does anything we had 1 assembly in the whole year.Student Review1y ago - Ontario High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is a freshman at Ontario high school, and her small group of friends have been physically attacked more than once and some of the girls have been hospitalized twice due to a larger group of girls that have violently attacked the group on a number of different occasions. The larger group of girls that have physically made attacks have now made other threats such as verbal warning of more serious assaults to come and the school is taking this issue very lightly. Their response and resolution to the whole situation is to recommended that the smaller group ( the ones being threatened) move to another school while this larger group of girls continue to be a threat on campus. The leadership at Ontario high is not working on the real safety of our students but enabling and allowing girls to get jumped and have threats made while nothing is being done.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 405 W Maple St.

"We were residents in North Ontario for a little over two years. We moved there during the pandemic so streets were calm and quiet since schools were not in session at the time. This is definitely not the case anymore. Lots of street racing and impatient, reckless drivers on the roads here. Good luck trying to navigate your way around the city during certain hours of the day as school traffic is horrendous. There seems to be a school on every block. This city doesn’t offer many decent grocery stores or restaurants either. We did all our shopping or dining in other surrounding areas. The extreme heat, high electricity bills, constant traffic and wild winds is what finally did it for us. Overall not a great place to live."

"This neighborhood is not for families. It a industrial location with almost no close family locations. Taco stands on the street always setting up. Train tracks running 24/7 and airplanes flying overhead constantly. "
