5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could not think of a better place for my kid than PS 32. There is so much individualized attention provided that I truly feel like we're in a private school without paying tuition! The teachers are phenomenal. My kid is in a Kindergarten class this year (NOT G&T), and I'm consistently blown away by how the teachers get him excited for reading & writing (he and his classmates are far ahead of others in "more desirable" neighborhood schools; he is fluently reading chapter books) and math. I wish I learned math the way he is learning it at 32 (on a recent snow day zoom, he created a two-step formula to make the number 9....). He loves dance, music, art, gardening, science, gym and library that he gets as part of his school day and has connected with all of these specialty teachers. He Kindergarten is also learning chess. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this school.Parent Review4w ago - Ms 51 William Alexander

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went here for two years. The end of her second year she was bullied, threatened, attempted assaulted. It continued into the beginning of her third and last year. The school did absolutely nothing about it. The school doesn't care. They don't properly report incidents that happen in the DOE oors system, so they can maintain the schools reputation. They don't want people to know what's really going on in there. They will protect the attacker all the time. Staff was removed from the school for not properly doing their job per the chancellor regulations. They won't notify you of any incidents either. Their lack of communication period is bad. There is absolutely none. The principal Mr Chan puts on a fake smile to draw you in and he's part of the problem. Things definitely gets swept under the rug here. They have a motive and only want certain students in that school because they test high. They make the school look great. Teaching wise, the school is great. They offer a lot because they have to please certain students. So your child can take advantage of that. But SAFETY wise the school is horrible and your child can get seriously hurt. I removed my child her final year, because they wouldn't protect her and just let her attacker continue to harass her. I wasn't taking a chance of her attacker ( a male student) bringing another weapon to school to attack my child.Parent Review5mo ago - Cobble Hill School of American Studies

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school for 9th grade and it was absolutely horrible .. Students interrupt when teachers are teaching , the lessons are never completed . There’s always a fight . teachers are disrespectful . Don’t send your child here !!Other Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 404 Bond St #1.

"Not unique anymore; overcrowded. Smoke shops with stink marijuana and suspicious people walking around. Neighborhood destroyed by real estate developers and month to month furnished rentals. "
