10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is a lot of entitlement in El Dorado Hills in general but that can be attributed to a student's home life. That is not indicative of this school. The school has been very supportive of my kids and has welcomed my input. I see reviews of sour grapes from some of the parents but these kids finish with a quality education and the majority go on to college.Parent Review1y ago - Latrobe Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to the area for the highly rated schools and small town community and it was the best decision. Our kids thrived with the smaller teacher/student ratio and felt so welcomed. It was a stark difference from the previous school environment we were in and we were relieved to hear our kids happy, making friends and excited to go to school. We absolutely love the new principal Dave Scroggins and all of the teachers, as well as the PTA who care so much for the community. There wasn't a day when we didn't feel the warmth and friendly faces at the school and we were more than happy to join in on the school festivities and events. Latrobe Elementary and Miller's Hill Middle School are such a hidden gems and we would recommend this community to any family.Parent Review10mo ago - Miller's Hill School

"Music and Arts education and Expressive Arts Therapy are the critical component for the proper development of advanced cognitive functions of our evolutionary young and still evolving human brain. The artistic process that involves metaphorical cognition is the gateway to the adequate self-perception, through th prism of sensory reactivation, crucial to serve as the counterpoint to the societal convention of emotional self-repression that debilitates our sensory abilities to inform our self-preservation instinct, involved into prioritizing for the right reasons and choosing the right goals and purposes."
