5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOh man, where to begin. The school is the feeder school for IB students, so it is the best option on paper for our child. However, this is a drastic down grade from Windsor Park. Don't have a crisis. Don't need any help. No one is ever available. No one will return your calls or emails. Everyone "passes the ball" to someone else in terms of responsibility. I definitely do not feel my child is cared for or supported here. This may be due to understaffing, or overworked, underpaid staff - but is highly noticeable. If your child goes there, just be diligent as best you can to make sure your child is cared for.Parent Review6mo ago - Wynn Seale Metropolitan School Of

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wouldn't send my kids here. The administration has a high turn over rate and the teachers talk trash about the students. You go to speak with someone and the lady in the front is rude. Some of the teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids the rest are really bad.Parent Review1y ago - Houston Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe experience at this school was good for some of my 4 children and it was great for others. The key to any successful student starts at home. Parent involvement is key. My children all graduated from high school and continued with their college education. 3 out of 4 have college degrees and the 4th one is doing well. It is up to the parent to recognize when their student is not getting what he/she needs and to address it with the school.Parent Review5y ago - Windsor Park G/T

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a kid with special need or have learning differences, please don't enrolled them in here. We have too much trouble since we let our kid enrolled this school. They want all the students learned the same way and don't offered a other way to learned. They want all kids be equal and that's not realistic. We have a kid with learning differences and others conditions and every year is the same. We need to fight and fight for the right of our son. We are really disappointed because when we was thinking about if this school was good enough for our son, we talk with the school principal and ask her if they are prepared for kids with special needs and she said yes. Everything sound perfect until we got our kid in this school. The teachers and the staff are not prepared for kids like mine. So please, do the favor to your kids with special needs to go on different school, but not here.Parent Review2y ago - Harold T Branch Academy For Career

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Harold T. Branch Academy has nothing but positive! I have been able to get involved with so many different extracurricular activities. I have been able to take part in a paid internship, many honor societies, and volunteer opportunities. I have been able to accomplish so much by having the support of the teachers and staff. I finished my associate's degree at Del Mar College through dual enrollment. I never had to pay for any expenses, such as books, transportation to DMC, and tuition. If you are looking for a challenge, join this opportunity and see yourself grow academically and personally.Other Review3y ago - Check out schools near 4029 Devon Dr.

"I love my neighborhood and the ease of getting to my destination in very little time. The effort and improvement of our streets by the city are incredible. Sure some parts are still in progress, but when they are done, all the tiny inconvenience we drive thru now, will be worth it. "

"New people to this area get welcomed into the neighborhood by getting robbed and having vandalism done to their home. Also, the law enforcement won't do anything about it. Oh, and there was a murder right across the street from Mr. G's BBQ. "

"Lived in TWO different locations [ rented ] for a total of 8 years. Both were tough, high-crime neighborhoods with "slum landlords". Happy AND relieved when we could finally AFFORD to move to a better part of Corpus Christi !!"

"I grew up in this neighborhood I'm 69yrs old. My grown children lived here for some years of their lives and several grand children also lived here. it is a rough neighborhood and not really safe in the evening hours so walking is not advisable. The city guidelines are the same as the rest of the town. City police patrol more often and have more calls to this area."
