Ashland City Elementary is an excellent school, where students are treated with respect and encouraged, enticed, and expected to do their very best. The teachers care deeply about the students. The work with each other and their supervisors to improve the quality of the education the students. receive. The students work hard, take responsibility for their learning, set goals and address their shortcomings. The school atmosphere is warm and comforting for students and staff alike.

Awful. Every day felt like another march to a building, only to be called slurs and treated as less than.

Linda Owen id the principle at this school and is incompetent in this position. Un concerned of the children and safety. If there were a crisis in this school these staff members would be clueless on what to do and I do not trust the principle with those decisions. How do these people get these jobs Id like to know? I thought moving to a small town outside of Nashville schools would be much different..sadly they are getting worse and not much far behind Nashville schools that have become completely unsafe and incompetent. There is also no gated entry way a guard on duty before entrance this is how security becomes breached. Something needs to change in these schools and this principle doesnt care. They are not taking school shootings seriously and all it takes is caring and a little effort and money to fix these problems. The public school system is become corrupt and this school and how the principle handles this huge responsibility is no exception. Thats just one issue but the most important.
