6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not normally write reviews unless I feel strongly about a particular topic. It is unfortunate that the previous review of the school was poor. I do not see any of the problems that were identified and my son has been attending the school for 5 years now. In fact, the school has yielded some of the highest 3rd grade CMT results in the region including higher than all other schools in southington, cheshire and farmington. If we ever move, it will only be to a home in Thalberg's school district with one more kid to attend beginning next year's all day K program. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the school and its newer administration.Parent Review10y ago

"I have a dog and I feel safe walking her around. There is a dog park walking distance on the trail. I have not seen any dogs not on a leash and I believe that it’s safe to walk with or without a dog. "

"Southington is a great place to grow up and raise a family no matter what stage you’re at. It’s a very accessible town and lots of privacy while still getting plenty of options of stores you can get to quickly and easily. I’d recommend parents always watch their children anywhere because the world is nuts everywhere but I’ve never felt unsafe or anything negative about living here. Again…. "It’s a very family-friendly town with lots of nice neighborhoods, parks and people. There are many great schools. The Linear trail is a great place for families to go for walks, bike rides, or a fun roller skating or roller blading session."
