Resulting in multiple referrals in P.E class. He received a low battery for participating an unsupervised game of “keep away”. He was greeted w/ a police escort and removed from school. My son is a black male, in the high achieving class. Performs high on state assessment examines. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a Hills graduate and live one mile away. The students and teachers are good and campus is safe. It is not a "wealthy school" like it was when I went there. But it is still a good quality public school. I visit campus occasionally as part of my current job duties as a teacher trainer. I'm not sure why some of the comments say it is a small school, as if this is a bad thing. Your kids will get more personalized attention here than at the big schools.Other Review2y ago

"As a single female I have always felt very safe here. It’s quiet and kind of off the beaten path. There’s always kids playing and I never see anyone speeding. Also there’s a lot of cops that live in here. "

"L'Etoile is a fine community in a secluded area right north of Sheridan Street and 40th Ave . A great place for children to grow up. Homes have been increasing in price . Great shopping and schools and beautiful beaches are just a couple of minutes East . "
