This school is the worst!! I've never had so many bullying issues. This has caused my granddaughter to go to counseling and has affected her emotional, mental, and physical health. The principal and asst principal are horrible!! They allow stabbings with a pencil, with the child only getting 2 day in school suspension, but wait, and my granddaughter also got ISS for getting to keep the kid from stabbing her. They are very discriminating and care less about what is happening in this school.

They put forth no extra effort for children that have problems learning. I'm a proactive parent and I tried to solve this problem but got zero help from them. I guess it is a perfect school for a child that fits their mold. They forget to send paperwork home constantly. They are very unorganized and the employees are extremely passive-aggressive.

From the halls of Truman, you'll hear children crying from their bodies being contorted and their bones being crushed. Nobody can move throughout the hallways without slow walkers, yelling people, and a stupidly congested T. The school used to be a middle school. It's not meant for all of these people. The curriculum is terribly average, and there is at least one fight every day. For me, the choir team has been the only positive experience, community and whole.

Pioneer Ridge has been amazing with the transition of our daughter during the 8th grade year. Their after school programs for tutoring and school work help have made a world of difference with our daughters grades in difficult subjects. The staff has been extremely helpful and approachable. Easy access dashboards and portals to view progress in real time have aided us at home in keeping in a weekly standard as well as being able to see an overall look at the semesters. Really happy that things are working out!
