4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Stanfield Elementary School because all five of my kids have went there and it has been a great school for them. I will miss the wonderful teachers and the staff here. Four of them have graduated from West Stanly High School. My youngest child is in kindergarten now and will not have the pleasure of staying with this school. His two teachers were wonderful because they were so good to him. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI watched in horror recently as the Wrestling coach of this school coached and covered a male wrestler in a match against a female wrestler. Even though he had already pinned the girl and all but been declared winner, the wrestler picked up the girl and slammed her face first, into the mat. Needless to say the ambulance needed to be called because of fear of spinal or neck injury. All the while, the coach was smirking on the sidelines and led his team out of the gym even before medics arrived. It is unbelievable that sportsmanship, leadership and character are so lacking in an old misogynistic man coaching our kids. I have decided to pull my son from the wrestling program and all sports. "I have lived in Locust Town Center for 2 years, and love it. All of the people I have met are friendly, and there is a ton of outdoor space. More and more sidewalks all the time (as they are still building.) And I can't keep up with all of the new businesses and amenities that Locust is adding."

"Nowhere to walk dogs. Very few sidewalks, walking paths, nature trails or parks. It is not much of an outdoorsy type of community. Everyone seems to huddle inside vacuum sealed from nature with their AC going full blast "

"I’ve lived here 12 years and love it. The privacy of the Forrest with the convenience of being very close to town with restaurants, shopping, a college and medical facilities.,this area has it all. "
