N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst school ive ever seen! They have no regards for military parents or a work schedule. They try to enforce how to pick up or drop off your own child. They wont your child off the bus at there own stop if your not at the point of drop off even if the house is 2 houses down. This school creates problem after problem. The bues are ALWAYS late and has no respect for parents or parents children!! This school is terrible!Parent Review1y ago - South Harnett Elementary

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor 3rd grade my son had a teacher that refused to acknowledge his raised hand for so long, he wet himself. She left the school before the end of the year and was replaced by a brand new teacher who was lovely, if inexperienced. My son’s 4th grade teacher is wonderful and the only reason he is still attending this school. My son gets bullied relentlessly on the bus. The school promises to address it, but does nothing. The PE teacher punishes the entire class by walking the students down a hallway and stopping to have all of the teachers in the 5th grade hallway come out of their rooms and laugh at them. My son was accepted into the AIG program, and 5 months later the school still has not had the meeting they were going to arrange to explain what that means for my child. Most importantly, my son broke his arm at school. My son was not even sent to the nurse! I did not receive a phone call. NOTHING!!! I get lots of assurances from staff that these things will be addressed. I have never seen actual action. It just seems to get worse. My son wants to be homeschooled next year and he has always adored school. I am very dissatisfied with this school.Parent Review2y ago - Western Harnett Middle

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWestern Harnett? More like WORST Harnett. If you have an option to not send your kid here take it!!! This school is the absolute worst school I’ve ever heard of. They pride themselves on bring anti bully. That is a HUGE joke. If your kid is new or doesn’t fit in, do not send them. The bullies will pick and pick and even threaten. All while being told ‘ Allegedly’ this school needs help with bullying. Truly. Start holding these kids accountable! The only staff member that was warm and welcoming was the older bearded STEM teacher. He deserves better then working at this place with these bullies. If this is an option RUNNNNNNNNParent Review1y ago - Overhills High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would say that this school is worth the pain. I don't want to deal with the drama and seceding fallout that comes with the school however I have to praise the school for despite all that still having a selection of AP classes and teacher that make it worth it. Teachers are a luck of the draw kind of thing there a good ones and bad ones, however even the bad ones most times will offer some kind of begrudging support. Even though it is definitely rough around the edges I would say its a good school.Student Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 36 Parkview Ln.
