6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery great school. Had two older kids come through Alpine and youngest in 3rd grade. Amazing office staff. Ms.Patti at the front desk is sweet to the kids. Principal is great and easy to talk to. My daughter has loved all of her teachers since kindergarten. Her current teacher, Ms.Henson is a great teacher and I love the way she structures learning. My daughter is always excited about learning. The curriculum is challenging and can seem fast paced but my daughter has soaked it all up. Alpine is big on fun mixed with education so they are always having fun events. I have not had too many negative experiences with the school. They also love volunteers so parents are always welcomed in. Because the school is like family teachers from all grades usually know a lot of the kids names. We are moving to Rutherford County and I will definitely miss that small family feel. Class sizes are small at Alpine. There were were 14 kids in my daughters 2nd grade class last year.Other Review7y ago - Red Bank High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally enjoy my experience at this school, but not as a student. As a classmate, and friend - yes! The people who go to this school are very intelligent and are going to amazing places, but our school system is horrible. There are so many problems I have suggested we fix, but then whoever I talk to will laugh in my face. Other students and I have tried to rally together to fight the school system but there is not much we can do when the administrators have the final say. If you are not in a Sport, JROTC or Band you are treated unfairly. Teachers actively make fun of clubs and our school news channel doesn't talk about how the students are being treated by teachers and administration because they are not allowed to. The coaches in this school, the Army Instructors and the band director are the only teachers I feel as though I can trust. Counselors are practically useless and are used as schedulers instead of doing the job they were hired for. Anyone in Administration will ignore you and degrade you for asking for help. This school has some serious problems that I think students know how to fix, but will ultimately be ignored.Student Review3y ago - Red Bank Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBy far, this school is the only way to go in Chattanooga. These students are college ready before they complete their 9th grade, and they are living breathing college from day one. Absolutely no other school on this side of the state comes anywhere near the test scores or graduation rates. And a nice plus - the leadership and staff are a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff and treat our children as if they were theirs. I've looked to relocate with my job to other states, and I can tell you that a program this good is very, very rare indeed. This one school is worth staying here until they graduate and in the U of Tn system for another two years at least.Parent Review5y ago - Hamilton County Virtual School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagesame as everyone else. There are problems with the high school they don't really teach they just yell at the kids they just have a very boring "do this" and never actually get any learning.Parent Review1y ago - STEM School Chattanooga

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor the 2015-2016 school year I have been extremely pleased with STEM school. The principal and staff members actually want their students to succeed. The class sizes are small, students take ownership of their work and other responsibilities, and the environment is exactly what I wanted for my son.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 3565 Knollwood Hill Lot 3 Dr.
